About

Notes for an undergraduate course in applied mathematics (3rd or 4th year). These are divided into a review and four main units:

  1. Review
  2. Linear Algebra
  3. Approximating Functions
  4. Root-Finding
  5. Calculus and Differential Equations

Previously, the course loosely followed Kincaid and Cheney’s Numerical Analysis: Mathematics of Scientific Computing (3rd edition) and so we occasionally take cues from that text.
